What ReflectMed is
A scaffolding tool, not an official one
ReflectMed helps UK Foundation Programme doctors structure reflective entries for their portfolio. It scaffolds your own thinking into a Horus-ready draft — it does not write reflections for you, and every draft must be reviewed and personalised before submission. ReflectMed is not affiliated with NHS England, the UK Foundation Programme Office, Horus, the GMC, or any deanery, and using it does not guarantee any particular ARCP outcome.
Eligibility
Who this is for
ReflectMed is built for FY1 and FY2 doctors on the UK Foundation Programme. By creating an account you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
Patient confidentiality
Your responsibility to anonymise
You must not enter any patient-identifiable information into ReflectMed. ReflectMed automatically scans input and blocks obvious identifiers, but this is a safety net, not a guarantee — you remain responsible for keeping every entry anonymised in line with GMC guidance. Subscription & billing
Free tier and paid membership
New accounts can create a small number of free reflections. Beyond that, continued use requires a paid membership at £12.99/year, billed annually and processed securely by Stripe — ReflectMed never sees or stores your card details.
Membership renews automatically each year unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime using the “Manage billing” button in the Account section of your dashboard, which opens your billing portal; cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period. Fees are otherwise non-refundable except where required by law.
Acceptable use
Using ReflectMed fairly
Don't submit AI-generated drafts to Horus without reading, editing, and personalising them first. Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, and don't use it to store or process anything other than your own Foundation Programme portfolio material.

Outputs are provided “as is”, without warranty as to accuracy or fitness for ARCP submission. You are solely responsible for reviewing and standing behind anything you submit to your portfolio.
Liability
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReflectMed is not liable for any ARCP outcome, educational or clinical supervisor decision, or other consequence arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Your content
Ownership
You own the reflections and evidence you create. ReflectMed owns the software, design, and branding. You can export or delete your data at any time from your dashboard or account settings.
Ending your account
Termination
You can delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or breach these terms.
Changes
Updates to these terms
We may update these terms as ReflectMed evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
Governing law
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
